I have ten years of experience as a tutor and five years as a certified educator. I have experience working with students as young as two years old and as old as high school students. I specialize in concept review, homework help, enrichment, and guiding students to reach their fullest potential. I am a tutor who can differentiate instruction and cater to the student's learning styles.

I have three years of classroom experience as the lead Math teacher of the grade level. Teaching Math is my passion. I love making math fun for students. I believe that students learn math best when it's relatable to their everyday lives and when they can be hands-on. I provide homework help and can help you prepare for your exam.

I have five years of classroom experience teaching reading. I am currently teaching students in other countries how to speak English. I am a certified reading and ESL/ESOL teacher. My teaching styles include visual representations, guided practice, speaking practice, reading aloud. I am a very encouraging and patient tutor who has helped hundreds of students to build their confidence in their reading, writing, and speaking ability.

I am a certified guided reading and phonics educator. I have five years of experience as a phonics teacher. I currently teach students overseas phonics and help develop a strong foundation with their phonics skills which has turned multiple students into strong readers. I help my students boost their confidence and gain a love for reading.

Stupendous tutor

Alexis is an amazing tutor. She took the time to ask me about my daughter's learning style so she could plan her lesson ahead of time. She has a great personality and my daughter took to her fast. My daughter is very shy amd timid but I didn't see that while she was in her tutoring session. If it was up to my child, she would tutor with Alexis everyday 🙂. I can tell Alexis has been doing this for a while; she is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I already see improvement in my child's reading and she's only had 2 sessions. I highly recommend Alexis!
