I am a passionate teacher, who believe that a child or adult engaged in learning must do so in a fashion that can be applied to real life situations. Learning involves the mind, the ability to apply what is learned in a variety of situations and the ability to create new experiences from each learning experience. I have taught for over forty-five years and have never lost my passion for teaching and learning. I have taught children and adults from a vast variety of learning backgrounds and styles, as well as from different socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. I have taught students of other languages learning in an English classroom and believe in creativity, hand-on, and minds-on enrichment. During my years of teaching, I have served as mentor, trainer, facilitator, team leader, and has been selected teacher of the year on more than one occasion. I value education and set high goals for all my students expecting them to achieve at their highest level of potential.
