I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Georgia teaching certification, with extensive experience teaching and tutoring students in grades K–5.
Throughout my career, I have provided standards-aligned, research-based instruction designed to meet the individual needs of diverse learners. My experience includes working with students in whole-class, small-group, and one-on-one tutorial settings, allowing me to provide targeted instruction and individualized support.
I have a particular interest in literacy development and the Science of Reading, including systematic and explicit phonics instruction and foundational reading skills. I enjoy helping students build confidence while developing the reading, writing, and academic skills necessary for long-term success.
In addition to working directly with students, I have supported families and collaborated with colleagues to identify effective instructional strategies and resources. I value relationship-building, collaboration, and professional learning and am passionate about using my experience to empower students, families, and educators.
