I have a Masters in Science (Management) and undergraduate degree in Psychology and Human Services. Certified as a Paralegal and have worked for local (legal) and federal governments (census and delivery services) for nearly 25 years and private legal sector five years. I have a life-long interests in educating people of all ages! I have experience with homeschooling in the Pre-K level. I have tutored many younger family members in the areas of reading, writing, spelling, elementary and middle school math. I have also served as a mentor for high school students.

I am a life-time learner myself and enjoy empowering people of all ages to pursue their dreams through education and life-learning skills. I am an advocate for limited TV and video games for kids during the week and an expert in improving student study habits.

I have tutored a special education high-school student in preparation for the college entrance exam in the areas of reading, writing and math.

I have a true passion for researching family history and enjoy studying genealogical and history, specifically the formation of the United States (The West) and Civil War events in the 1800s.

I've reached an advanced level of research in the following areas: (legal, genealogical, education, etc.). I have excellent skills in teaching all learners to map out a study plan; however, the study plan for kids should be supported and agreed upon by parents/guardians to be successful. It is important for students of all ages and backgrounds to obtain consistent study habits to ensure they are able to balance learning and other daily-life activities to be successful.

My hobbies include sewing (learning to design), quilting and making comfortable blankets for all ages, studying family and American History.
