My formal educational background is in science (biology), so I am quite comfortable teaching most life sciences up to the college level. In addition, I worked in a university writing center where I taught students of all ages how to write college-level essays, helped proofread papers in numerous subjects, and assisted students with a myriad of English and writing assignments.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology. I have taken (and taught) numerous classes in the life sciences including, but not limited to: Microbiology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology/Biochemistry, Genetics, Environmental Biology, Bioinformatics, Physiology/Pathophysiology, General Chemistry, and many more. I worked as a tutor/teacher for almost three years in a university writing center, where I taught students how to write at the college-level. In addition, I proofread and edited essays, assisted with English, literature. and composition assignments, and taught fundamental and advanced writing skills.
