My name is Kyle A. and I am an FAA certified flight instructor. I have over 350 hours of experience across more than 5 different aircraft types including Cessna, Piper, and Tecnam aircraft. I attended Middle Georgia State University where I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Aviation Science and Management as well as my commercial pilot’s license through their part 141 program. After graduation, I attended Superior Flight School where I received my Certified Flight Instructor certificate. I currently work as an instructor teaching student pilots towards their private and commercial pilot’s licenses.
I first began tutoring others in college as a way to expand my own understanding of aviation and have since developed that understanding into a career of Flight Instructing. Since then, I have taught all ages from high school all the way through retired adults with engagement levels ranging from hobbyists to career pilots. The majority of my teaching/tutoring experience is in the context of a classroom or airplane, but I have conducted many lessons virtually as ground instruction is often better taught with digital resources when a class room is not available.
I teach using the airmen certification standard across all subject areas, so whether it be regulations, weather, aircraft systems, or aerodynamics, you know you are being taught to meet and exceed the FAA published standard to pass your exam. Every student has different needs and requirements, so as a teacher it is important to tailor your lessons to their needs while meeting to the official standards.
