I am an experienced educator and instructional leader with over 14 years in public education, holding a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, district-level instructional leader, and assistant principal, and I was honored as a District Teacher of the Year. My academic background and professional experience have given me a deep understanding of how students learn and how to design instruction that leads to measurable growth.
I have extensive experience working with elementary and middle grades students in both classroom and small-group settings, as well as one-on-one intervention. I specialize in reading and math, particularly in helping students close learning gaps and build confidence. My approach is rooted in data-driven instruction, meaning I use assessment data, student work, and targeted skill analysis to identify exactly where a student needs support. From there, I create personalized learning plans that focus on foundational skills, guided practice, and gradual release to ensure mastery.
