I am a biology graduate student with extensive upper level coursework and dedicated MCAT preparation experience. Although I now genuinely love biology, my journey with it was not effortless. I began taking Anatomy and Physiology I and II at 17 as a dual enrollment student and quickly learned that college level science moves fast and expects mastery early.
Through years of disciplined study and thousands of hours refining my understanding, I have built a strong foundation in biology that I am passionate about helping others develop. I have tutored university level STEM students and served as a Teaching Assistant for multiple biology courses, supporting students with complex concepts, exam preparation, and effective study strategies. I meet students where they are and tailor sessions to their learning style, pace, and goals.
Coming from a military family, I once thought my path would follow a traditional form of service. Over time, I realized education is its own battlefield. It requires resilience, strategy, and experience. Success in science is not about being naturally smart. It is about learning how to approach material efficiently and confidently.
I began tutoring as a volunteer in college and worked with students I considered exceptionally bright. Many credited me for their academic growth, which reinforced something important. No one is too advanced to benefit from a new perspective. I understand what it feels like to struggle with material that seems like another language. That experience allows me to teach with clarity, structure, and empathy.
My mission is simple. To give students what I once needed. Clear explanations, strategic guidance, and the confidence to master challenging material.
