I received my first Master of Arts degree from the University of Florida in Latin and my second from Saint Mary's University in Minnesota in Special Education (autism spectrum disorder and emotional behavior disorder).
I have been a high school teacher in the state of Georgia for over 14 years teaching Latin and ESOL. I am state certified in the following areas: Latin, ESOL, English Language Arts, Gifted in field, and Special Education.
I have taught classes as small as 6 students and as large as 45 students. I also have experience with neurodiverse students and disabled students. My teaching practice follows the principles of Comprehensible Input which says that in order for students to acquire language they must receive Understandable and compelling Input in the language. It is my goal to help learners of all kinds.
