Hello, I’m Dr. Chuck. I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and have over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring mathematics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I believe that most mathematical concepts come down to understanding the steps and practicing them consistently. My tutoring method focuses on breaking problems into clear, manageable steps, practicing them interactively, and strengthening areas where students struggle.
Most of my tutoring experience has been in-person, but since the pandemic I’ve also gained experience working with students online. I have worked with high school and college students in a wide range of subjects, including Algebra, Calculus I–III, Discrete Mathematics, Finite Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, Abstract Algebra, Topology, and Real Analysis.
My goal is to help students reach their full potential—not only earning good grades but also building confidence and problem-solving skills that will benefit them in other areas of life. To provide the best support, I welcome feedback from students and parents and adapt my tutoring approach to fit different learning styles.
If you’re looking for help in any of the subjects listed above, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’ll respond promptly.
