Bio

Brigida T. was born in Venezuela. She is a retired Civil Engineer, and a Spanish teacher since 2014, and Spanish Professor at Kennesaw State University since 2018. She is also a writer and has published two books in English and Spanish. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching Foreign Languages at Kennesaw State University. She has taught Spanish to different levels from Elementary grades through College levels.

Brigida T. was born in Venezuela. She is a retired Civil Engineer, and a Spanish teacher since 2014, and Spanish Professor at Kennesaw State University since 2018. She has taught Spanish to different levels from Elementary grades through College levels.

Brigida has lived in Georgia since 1996 and recently moved to Kennesaw, Georgia with her two teenage children and their dogs. She was the Women's Ministry Leader at her Church for 5 years. She is an exercise motivator for health and participates each year in half marathons like the Publix Marathon; in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Seven Bridges Marathon; in Chattanooga Tennessee.

She has shared various health messages on the air for a radio station in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been invited to share her personal experience in her book on a TV Christian program. Her passion has been for cooking and teaching, and creating new, delicious and healthy recipes.

Her favorite pastimes are: walking/running with friends and family, visiting new places, and serving communities. She enjoys helping her neighbors in several communities. She loves to travel and learn about different cultures to improve teaching on diversity, different dialects, traditions and foods.

Excellent Spanish tutor!

Brígida has been teaching my middle school daughter for several months. She is incredibly patient and organized, she sends slides and homework, practicing tools, and mi kid is learning really well. Brígida’s native language is Spanish, she teaches excellent grammar and writing as well. Can’t wait to have my daughter speak Spanish soon, and will continue with her classes as my kid adores her and wants to learn more. Thank you Brigida!
