About Santiago

Bio

I graduated with a degree in Modern Languages and Culture from Kennesaw State University, in Georgia. Since I was a kid I have had a tremendous passion for learning languages and always wanted to follow a career in that path. I started learning English when I was in first grade, so I know what learning a language is like from an early age. I graduated with a degree in Modern Languages and Culture from Kennesaw State University, in Georgia. Since I was a kid I have had a tremendous passion for learning languages and always wanted to follow a career in that path. I started learning English when I was in first grade, so I know what learning a language is like from an early age. I was a Spanish tutor at the language lab of the university, where every day I helped students who came in and needed assistance with any topics, from grammar and pronunciation questions, to test preparations and final projects assistance. I enjoy my work of helping others with languages and find it very helpful to do, as learning foreign languages has become more and more common in our workplace. I am also a native Spanish speaker, born in Colombia. I have a vast experience with all sorts of topics in Spanish, from vocabulary and grammar structure to final exam preparations. I have worked with all group ages and with individual students, as well as large groups. I am very patient and easy-going, as I had to learn languages myself! I have been a tutor since 2016 and have worked with kids all ages, college students, graduate students, and retired professionals.

-Tenses (Preterite, imperfect, subjunctive, future, conditional, etc.)

Very good tutor!

Santiago makes me learn and understand a lot of things in Spanish. I am French, and sometimes, he makes little parallels with the French language, which is very cool. I also think that his way of teaching, through a google doc, is very practical. I really enjoy my lessons with him!
