My name is Yasmine J., and I am a mathematics educator with over 25 years of experience helping students build confidence and success in math. I hold a Master of Education in Mathematics and have spent much of my career teaching and supporting students in both classroom and small-group learning environments. Throughout my career, I have worked with middle school and high school students in subjects ranging from foundational math skills to Algebra and higher level concepts. My background as both an educator and administrator has allowed me to understand the different ways students learn and the importance of building strong mathematical foundations.
In addition to classroom teaching, I provide one-on-one and small group tutoring designed to meet the individual needs of each student. I am the founder of Excel At Math, a tutoring center located in Kennesaw, Georgia, where I work directly with students who need additional support, enrichment, or preparation for more advanced math courses. I have experience working with students from elementary through high school, including those who need help strengthening foundational skills as well as those preparing for Algebra and other advanced coursework.
