I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience and have several years of tutoring experience across multiple age groups. I began tutoring in high school, where I served as a peer tutor for three years in biology, chemistry, and language arts. Since then, I have worked with local students and family friends and also tutored introductory biology and chemistry at the University of Georgia. I completed twelve AP courses in high school, earning scores of 5 on AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Language, AP U.S. History, and AP Psychology. I scored in the 90th percentile on the SAT and earned a 512 on the MCAT.

I work with middle school, high school, and college students, adapting my approach to each student’s needs. My background in psychology allows me to help students build effective study habits and manage academic pressure. Rather than focusing only on memorization, I design structured, individualized study plans that strengthen understanding and long-term retention.

What sets me apart is my emphasis on strategy and growth. I have refined my own study systems through preparation for rigorous exams, and I teach those same proven methods to my students. My goal is not only to improve grades and scores, but to help students develop confidence, critical thinking skills, and independent learning habits that support long-term success.

Approved Subjects

ACT Reading

ACT Reading

ACT Reading is a speed-based exam, and I teach students how to extract meaning quickly without rereading or panicking. Using evidence-based strategies drawn from cognitive science, I help students identify what matters in a passage and ignore distractions. My approach consistently improves both speed and confidence, which is essential for ACT success.
Anatomy

Anatomy

I teach anatomy from a medical-school–oriented perspective, emphasizing structure-function relationships rather than rote memorization. With formal training in neuroscience and advanced biological sciences, I help students understand how systems integrate — the same way they’re tested in college and pre-health programs. This approach leads to stronger retention, faster recall, and higher exam performance.
Biology

Biology

I teach biology as a systems-based science, helping students connect concepts across topics instead of memorizing isolated facts. With a strong foundation in neuroscience and psychology, I explain biological processes in a way that mirrors how the brain naturally learns and retains information. This leads to deeper understanding, better explanations, and stronger exam results.
Chemistry

Chemistry

My strength in chemistry lies in making complex concepts logical and intuitive, not intimidating. I guide students through problem-solving frameworks used in higher-level science and pre-medical coursework, ensuring they understand both the math and the chemistry behind it. Students who work with me build true problem-solving confidence, not dependency on formulas.
SAT Reading

SAT Reading

I specialize in SAT Reading by teaching students how top scorers actually think, not how average test-takers guess. With a background in neuroscience and psychology, I train students to recognize passage structures, predict question traps, and manage cognitive fatigue under timed conditions. My students don’t just improve accuracy — they gain a repeatable, test-day system that consistently raises scores.
