Hello! My name is Danny and I am currently employed at Kennesaw State University as an Instructor of English. While my teaching mostly focuses on an introduction to writing at the college level, these techniques can be applied to anybody who is interested in improving their writing. In addition, before I was an instructor I was a tutor for the Kennesaw State Writing Center. I fell confident in supplying advice and feedback for all genres of writing.

Further, I have helped students of all backgrounds. As a writing tutor and an instructor, I have helped younger students, graduate students, and adult learners. I have assisted students who's first language is not English, and also provided feedback for students writing their Master's dissertation. Wherever you are at in your writing journey, I will be able to help.

As an instructor, my philosophy revolves around helping students gain a rhetorical awareness to best help their writing. This means, understanding the rhetorical situation you are in and using that awareness to compose effective writing. I understand how daunting of a task writing can be, but I believe becoming more in tune with the rhetorical situation, the writing process, and understanding how to organize essays can go a long way in reducing the anxiety that makes writing difficult sometimes.
