I really shouldn't pat myself on the back, but I'm pretty darn good at what I do!

In regards to tutoring, I enjoy working with students on an individual basis because it is great to see students overcome a concept that may have been difficult for them to understand previously. I have been teaching Mathematics for a total of 24 years, 5 at the middle school level and 19 at the high school level. My true passion is teaching Statistics and Algebraic concepts, although I have taught many courses from middle school Math, Algebra 1, Euclidean Geometry, Elementary Statistics, Algebra 2, and SAT Prep over the years. I currently teach AP Statistics, PreCalculus, and SAT Prep at a high school in Clayton County.

I am truly an elite teacher because I am able to relate and break down mathematical concepts to almost any student that has the zeal to learn. It is my passion and philosophy to increase the mathematical ability of any student that is truly willing to put in the work. Mathematics, like many things in life, must be practiced properly to truly achieve competency. If you're willing to work, I'm certain that you can learn Mathematics.

PreAlgebra is an important foundational piece to a student's future success in upper-level high school Mathematics courses, as these academic skills will facilitate a students ability to learn more complex concepts in the future. I have been teaching PreCalculus concepts to 12th grade students or advanced 11th grade students for 14 years now. I like PreCalculus because it encompasses many disciplines such as Algebra, Trigonometry, and even some Statistics. I like teaching PreCalculus because it is truly a college-bound course that reaches back to utilize foundational knowledge from lower-level mathematical courses in simple, intermediate, and sometimes complex ways.
