Hello, I am Natalie, and I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Flute Performance and Pedagogy. I bring both formal training and Army Band experience to flute teaching, and I specialize in helping children build strong tone, technique, and confidence through clear instruction and a positive, structured learning environment. Adult learners appreciate my patient pacing, detailed guidance, and the flexibility that lessons provide, whether they are returning to the flute or beginning for the first time.
In addition to teaching, I serve as a worship flutist on Sundays, using music to support and enrich our church services. I am also a member of the Fayette Area Flutists, a community ensemble that performs twice a year in Peachtree City, Georgia. These experiences allow me to stay active as a performer while continuing to grow as an educator.
I performed Nicole Chamberlain’s The Beloved Community as part of the National Flute Association’s commissioning project, an experience that deepened my commitment to expressive, community‑centered music‑making. I also performed with the “100 Flutists” for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s First Chair Tribute honoring Christina Smith, Principal Flutist. I look forward to guiding your student or an adult learner through well‑structured flute lessons that support their goals and help them grow musically with confidence, enjoyment, and steady progress.
