Throughout my career, I have taught all grade bands, from kindergarten through high school, which has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how students learn and grow at each stage. Currently, I work with high school ESOL students, where I apply my background in Special Education methodology and English Learner instruction to create meaningful and accessible learning experiences. In my classroom, I lead by example and strive to create a positive, inclusive environment where students feel supported academically, socially, and emotionally. I design personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s individual needs, using research-based strategies in both Special Education and ESOL. I introduce concepts in engaging and creative ways, ensuring students can connect to the material, and I provide structured opportunities for practice and independent learning. I continuously monitor progress and adjust instruction to ensure all students are making growth. My goal is to foster confidence, independence, and a love for learning while maintaining high expectations for every student.
