Hello! My name is Bethany. I am a college junior with a previously earned Associate's of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Military College, where I achieved a 4.0 GPA and stayed on both the Dean's List and the President's list for academic excellence. There, I acted as President of the Technology club and held office positions in the Art Club and others for a full year. I am currently on a break semester at a new university while I work on IT & UX/UI Design certifications, and hope to also use this time to begin doing something I'm passionate about professionally: tutoring! After all, the best way to retain knowledge is to keep using it.
I recognize the importance of having a teacher who listens to your concerns and cares about your understanding of the material. The computer science field contains rigorous coursework which I aspire to help make more approachable.
