I hold a BA in anthropology and history from Augusta University, a MA of Heritage Preservation from Georgia State University, and I am a graduate of Art Instruction Schools.
In regards to my tutoring methods I start off by having the student bring to me examples of their artwork and we start based of off their experience level. I start off teaching them how to draw and erase properly, how to hold the pencil or pen, and how to apply lines to the paper. As the student progresses I will have them draw more complicated objects. If the student wishes to advance to the painting stage we will take finished drawings and use them for the paintings. I will show them step-by-step how to go through the painting process.
