I've been fortunate to acquire 14+ years of pedagogical experience, spanning from 7th grade to college undergraduate levels. Being certified in Georgia and Alabama (6th through 12th grades) I've taught: Life Science, Physical Science, High School (Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Physiology & Anatomy), and introductory college courses. I received system acknowledgement for reading level improvement and standardized test score performance of my middle school students.
During the tenure, as a high school teacher, my students' standardized test score performance and advancement over several years and its contribution to increasing the school district's CCRPI score with the state of GA was acknowledged by a visit from the GA Superintendent of Education ("Exceeded State requirement in Biology GA Milestones"). I was a Finalist for my School District's ”Teacher of the Year” 2016-2017, and appeared in “Top 50 Under 50”, Rural Leader Magazine 2017, “Women of Small Town America”, Rural Leader Magazine 2017".
Recently, I've been granted the opportunity to work with tutorials of students at the undergraduate level. Some of the students have gone from failing to 3.0+ GPA students.
