During my undergraduate studies, I maintained a 3.0 GPA, Achievement Tuition Scholarship, a pre-calculus teaching assistant work-study position, and a 3-year internship at Yokogawa Corporation of America, an automotive industrial company.
Since graduating, I spent nearly 4 years working as a tutor and office personnel for the Huntington Learning Center franchise. There, I gained experience with SAT/ACT/ASVAB/GED test preparation, study skills coaching, and math content tutoring.
In 2022 I also worked as an independent contractor for Academic Think Tank where I taught a semester-long SAT prep course at a public high school in Metro-Atlanta. I have worked with students ranging from ages 5-40. I have taken and aced the Georgia Ethics Assessment, and I provide a very fun yet professional atmosphere to my students.
I prioritize patience, adaptation, and grace, considering the very broad spectrum of student learning styles and capabilities. I have experience with 1-on-1 tutoring as well as small and large groups both virtually and in-person, and I have fostered academic growth and independence in all settings. I love what I do.
