I am a certified elementary school teacher with a degree from University of West Georgia, where I am also currently pursuing my master’s degree. I have experience teaching upper elementary students, with a strong focus on 4th grade math, science, and social studies, as well as preparing students for the GMAS. Many of my students have achieved level 3s and 4s, and I take pride in helping them grow both academically and in their confidence.

In my classroom, I work with a wide range of learners every day, including students who need extra support and those who are ready to be challenged. I frequently teach in small groups and one-on-one settings, which has allowed me to develop a patient, flexible approach to instruction. I break down skills into simple steps, use strategies that make learning easier to understand, and meet students where they are so they can feel successful.
As a tutor, I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. I use guided practice, clear explanations, and test-taking strategies to help students truly understand what they are learning in math, science, and social studies. My goal is for every student to leave each session feeling more confident, capable, and proud of their progress.
