I have a degree in History with a minor in secondary education. (Grades 9- 12) I am a certified secondary history teacher with the State of Georgia. I have completed my master's degree in History (British Empire in the Victorian Era). Previously, I worked as a substitute teacher for Hall County, Georgia, and as a full-time teacher at Maranatha Christian Academy; I currently work as a deputized professor for a dual enrollment school and the University at Toccoa Falls in U.S. History and Geography. I excel in World History, U.S. History, English, and writing skills/college prep.

My writing skills are excellent, and I help students develop and create outlines for multiple paper types, including persuasive, research, and expository, at the high school or college level. I can also support ESL students who want to improve their reading and writing, and assist students who are learning to read and who want to improve their reading comprehension or study skills.

My homeschooling-to-college experience helps me support students as they navigate dual enrollment programs and college prep activities. I enjoy working one-on-one or with student groups, helping them to reach their true potential.
