I graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I worked for Fulton County’s Board of Health in the Public Health sector. I felt throughout my years at the Board of Health that I wasn’t fulfilling my purpose. I knew that I always wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. When the recession hit, I quickly realized that being proactive about building your finances was one of the most important things you could do. Thus, I began working under one of the top CPA leaders in Atlanta who has been mentioned in Forbes magazine, Mr. Jian. I helped families build financial portfolios thru 401K’s, IRA’s, college funds, and life insurance. Working with Mr. Jian, I became a certified college consultant with Heartland Institute of Financial Education. This institution helps guide high school students towards building a successful college roadmap, including scholarship placements. This is when I realized that my true purpose was to assist young adults in creating a guide for a productive life in today’s society.
I have always been community-driven growing up and enjoy speaking to children; nurturing and guiding them towards their dreams and end goals. I transitioned into education because I felt the framework in childhood education contained many gaps. Kumon’s curriculum works to fill those gaps while providing children with academic confidence. I hope to create productive, global citizens of the world and I’m excited to be able to contribute to your child’s success!
