I recently graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics. Here’s a bit about my teaching experience and philosophy.

Growing up with a teacher as a father, I developed an early passion for space that carried me through my degree in Aero/Astro. While at Stanford, I taught and mentored students across a wide range of ages and subjects. My background includes serving as a teaching counselor for the Stanford Program for Inspiring the Next Generation of Women in Physics (SPINWIP), leading STEM education initiatives in Ghana, and tutoring local pre-schoolers from low-income households.
To get the most out of every session with your child, I will review homework, reading materials, or syllabi prior to our time together. This allows me to arrive fully prepared with custom practice problems, supplementary resources, and a focused game plan! In addition, I strongly believe maintaining an encouraging, positive growth mindset is the key to getting students to feel comfortable with making mistakes and feeling motivated to improve.
Having relied on tutoring and additional schooling during my own academic journey, I am passionate about helping the next generation of students reach their full potential. My number 1 goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence and master complex STEM concepts, so I am excited to work together to reach your child’s learning goals!
