I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, which provides me with a solid background in Mathematics and the Physical Sciences.
I have very little tutoring experience since I've only have experience working in study groups and younger family members with homework; however, I'm very good at understanding where others are having problems which allows me to bridge gaps of understanding.
I also have professional work experience, which could be useful in helping my students...
I also have professional work experience, which could be useful in helping my students understand the real life applications of the subjects they're learning.
Personally, I've decided to return to school, with hopes of attending med school, and my long term goal is to eventually become a physician. With my experience and future goals I hope I can be of help to someone else on their personal journey. While I'm new to tutoring, I hope to use this experience to improve my teaching skills, so I'm also ready to learn in order to become a better teacher.
Overall, you can be sure that you're getting a teacher with a solid foundation in the subject he teaches, and also one who is genuinely interested in helping others.
