I’m certified in reading, online teaching, and LETRS—giving me a strong foundation in research-based strategies that support literacy, language development, and student growth.
My teaching experience spans a wide range of learners and needs. I spent five years working in preschool special education and with children on the autism spectrum, seven years as a kindergarten teacher, and the last four years as an elementary interventionist and EIP (Early Intervention Program) teacher. This has given me valuable insight into how to meet students where they are and help them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the classroom.
My approach to tutoring is always personalized, patient, and encouraging. I believe learning should be engaging, hands-on, and tailored to each child’s unique needs and strengths. I use a variety of strategies, including multisensory instruction and targeted interventions, to make sure every student not only learns but feels successful while doing it. I love helping children gain confidence and truly enjoy the learning process!
