Hello prospective students, I am happy to share my life experiences with you here. I grew up next to a US Civil War battlefield in Virginia, USA and spent my childhood finding artifacts just like Indiana Jones from the movies. The only thing missing was adventure. Upon college graduation I worked in sales management roles until I realized there was no adventure to be had. I therefore gave up climbing the corporate ladder in order to pursue my dream of being a teacher at foreign international schools - adventure. My first teaching job was in Thailand as a high school English teacher. From there I moved to Guangzhou, China and taught at an international primary school. It was fun, but I wanted more. I then took a position in Foshan at Guongdong Country Garden School as a Grade 10 and 11 English composition and literature teacher. I volunteered to join the AP History team as that was my university focus. We read some awesome science fiction and history books! A few years later, I became a Training Manager, overseeing five language school campuses and all teachers. It was a very tough job, but I learned all the fine details of IELTS and TOEFL. I worked closely with students and teachers to help students achieve their goals. I am not a fan of PPT. My classes are fun and require active participation at all time. You will be speaking, reading, writing, and listening - putting in effort, rather than being talked at with boring ppt's.
I started private IELTS and TOEFL tutoring in Bangkok, Thailand. My students came to me specifically to score high enough for entrance into East Coast USA Universities, mainly around Washington DC - in order to pursue foreign affairs and international relations careers.
