Hello, my name is Tabitha!
I graduated from the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology in Georgia, where I completed one of the most rigorous high school STEM curricula in the state, including AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics C: Mechanics, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations. I earned a 1550 on the SAT. I later attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
My first experience tutoring began through my high school's National Honor Society. I loved getting to know my underclassmen and helping them grow in the subjects we worked on together. That experience sparked a passion for teaching and mentoring. During my time at Georgia Tech, I continued building this experience by serving as a Teaching Assistant in a Biomedical Engineering course, where I helped students understand complex concepts and supported them through coursework and problem solving.
I completed the most rigorous high school math sequence offered in Georgia, including Pre-Calculus in 9th grade, AP Calculus BC in 10th grade, Multivariable Calculus in 11th grade, and Differential Equations in 12th grade. I also scored a 780 on the Math section of the SAT. Because of this background, I feel confident helping students develop strong problem solving skills and succeed in their math courses.
My goal is always to help students gain confidence and truly understand the material they are learning. I am very responsive and easy to reach, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment for my students. I primarily offer online tutoring, but please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson. Thank you!
