Hello. My name is Courtney F. and I am a recent college graduate. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2020 where I obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a pre-medical concentration pathway, and I gradated from Gordon State College with an Associates in Psychology. I graduated with a GPA of 3.8 and Magna Cum Laude at both colleges. During my time at Kennesaw State University, I was a General Chemistry TA for two years where I assisted multiple professors in lecturing and tutoring students.
During this time span I helped 97% of my students raise their grade at least a letter grade higher, helped them understand the material easier, and more efficiently. It was through this achievement I learned I greatly enjoyed tutoring students and I want to continue this path through Wyzant's platform.
During my time at Kennesaw State University I learned more effective and efficient strategies that can help students learn materials more than classrooms usually do. I have prior professional experience teaching general chemistry and excel greatly with tutoring additional sciences. As I have two degrees in psychology with a 4.0 GPA throughout all of the psychology courses I have taken, I have the skills to tutor anyone in any subject matter within psychology.
