I am an Industrial Engineering student at Georgia Tech entering my junior year. I fell in love with the intersection of math, data, and technology early on, and that passion naturally led me to want to share it with others. My journey into tutoring began in high school, where I found myself gravitating toward helping classmates work through difficult problems. What started as informal study sessions with friends gradually grew into something more intentional — as a high schooler, I began tutoring middle school students in STEM subjects, working with them one-on-one and in small groups to build their foundational understanding of math and science.
What I enjoy most about teaching is the moment a concept finally clicks for a student. My approach to tutoring is deeply shaped by the Feynman philosophy: you do not truly understand something unless you can explain it clearly and simply to someone else. I hold myself to that standard, and I try to hold my students to it too. Rather than walking them through formulas or procedures to memorize, I focus on building intuition first — asking questions, working through examples together, and encouraging students to explain their reasoning back to me. If they cannot explain it, we dig deeper until they can.
My Industrial Engineering coursework at Georgia Tech has only strengthened this foundation. The program demands rigorous quantitative thinking across math, statistics, computing, and systems design, and I apply that same structured, analytical mindset when breaking down problems with students. I am comfortable tutoring across a wide range of STEM subjects and genuinely enjoy the challenge of finding the right explanation for each individual learner.
