I am currently a sophomore pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and throughout my academic journey I have developed strong communication skills in both English and Spanish. Being originally from Venezuela and fully bilingual has allowed me to tutor students in both languages with confidence and cultural understanding. In high school, I participated in peer-to-peer tutoring and peer leadership programs, where I supported classmates in subjects ranging from language skills to general coursework. These experiences helped me learn how to adapt my explanations to different learning styles, remain patient, and encourage students through positive reinforcement.

My tutoring experience has taken place in both one-on-one and small-group settings, guiding students with varying levels of proficiency. I especially enjoyed helping students strengthen their writing, reading comprehension, and conversational skills in both languages as well as geometry. Working in these programs for several years gave me a practical foundation in teaching younger students as well as peers close to my age. I learned to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing new skills, and working through challenges.

Beyond tutoring, I have nearly four years of experience in customer service roles, which has further refined my communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills. I am consistently recognized for being enthusiastic, patient, and quick to learn, qualities that translate directly into my tutoring approach. I enjoy helping others build confidence in their abilities, and I bring professionalism, empathy, and a strong work ethic to every student I work with.
