Hi, I am Fyad! I have just recently graduated from Georgia Tech with a mathematics degree. I had always loved math as a child, and that is why I became a tutor. I wanted to share my love of math with people who find it hard or complicated. I have 4 years of tutoring experience, so I have seen hundreds of students and increased most of their grades. The age range of students I tutor is from age 11 all the way to 19. I specialize in private tutoring, so I can directly help one student get the best grades that they deserve. I tutor in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-algebra, and AP Calc AB.

My tutoring methods are very different from other tutors. I try to come up with a shortcut to help the student understand the concepts better and feel more comfortable doing harder concepts. I will go at your pace and challenge your ability to do what you already know and come up with a question that will be challenging. I will also show every single method for every concept. Of course if you do not like some of my policies I will definitely change my approach to your liking.

My goal is always to help you build your own unique problem-solving toolkit. We'll often work through an example together, and I’ll explain how I think about each step along the way. Then once we’ve arrived at an answer, I’ll ask you to explain in your own words what we did and why we did it. That explanation becomes a written step-by-step blueprint to follow when we do the next problem.

To me, math problems are just puzzles to crack, with a million different possible approaches. That gives flexibility, and through our work, you’ll build up your own logical process to solve these puzzles piece by piece, even when the underlying concepts are overwhelming.

I want to help as many students as I possibly can to succeed in math. I love tutoring people and seeing their progress, and the grades move up 2 letters. I would love to see a future student!
