I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Georgia, where I graduated in December 2020. My coursework included advanced mathematics, data analysis, and programming, providing me with technical skills to explain mathematical concepts clearly. I have also completed a Udemy certification in "Artificial Intelligence A-Z 2024: Build 7 AI + LLM & ChatGPT", which enhanced my ability to integrate modern, engaging methods into teaching, such as using AI tools for interactive learning. Other than technical skills, I am a great communicator, motivator, and mentor. I love sharing things that I have knowledge in, and in general I am a very curious person. I really love seeing kids growing a passion for something and maybe getting better at something they weren't the best at before. My teaching experience began as a volunteer in college, where I tutored a group of Bhutanese refugees in a classroom setting on and off for about two years. This involved working with students of various ages, from children to adults, focusing on foundational math, English literacy, and basic social studies to aid their community integration. I used interactive methods like group activities, visual aids, and real world examples to include diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds in a supportive environment. Over the past few months, I have been providing one-on-one tutoring to elementary through high school students in math, English, sciences, and social studies. These personal sessions allow me to tailor approaches, such as using problem-solving exercises and games for math, as well as reading comprehension discussions and writing prompts for English. I feel comfortable working with anyone that needs tutoring or mentorship in the areas that I have knowledge in. I am a natural teacher, great communicator, and an overall patient and compassionate person. I feel skilled in tutoring all subjects up to a middle school level. My main skill would be Math, comfortable teaching up to SAT Math level.
