Hi, my name is Aarav, and I graduated summa cum laude from Northview High School. I am currently a student in the University of Georgia’s Honors College. I am a Biology major and a Cognitive Science Minor. I am on the pre-medicine pathway with the hope of becoming a cardiologist.
I have tutored for the past year for the SAT for both the English and math sections. My students experienced a tremendous increase in their scores, with some jumping up to 250 points in each section. I have also helped students pass their algebra and biology classes. My experience as a Biology major means I understand how to help students given the fact that I am one myself. It also means that I am highly qualified to teach these STEM courses.
My teaching style is all about helping the student with the areas they feel weakest. We can either find the weakest area in their understanding or jump right into it if the student knows where they are weak. Once this has been established, I give interactive lessons with plenty of examples and practice to be to ensure that the concepts are solidified. I also leave time in each lesson for questions and future planning to ensure the student reaches their goals in a timely manner! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
