Hello! My name is Jenna, and I’m a certified Georgia math educator with 19 years of teaching experience and a passion for helping students build confidence in mathematics. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education, a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education (K–12), and a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership. I also hold Georgia certifications in Special Education, Middle Grades Education, and Early Childhood Education.
Since 2007, I’ve taught students from fourth grade through high school. My experience includes seven years teaching fourth-grade math, 4 years teaching middle school math, two years as a learning support specialist in a high school setting, and six years in my current position teaching Algebra II, Geometry, and Advanced Mathematical Decision Making at the high school level.
My goal is to help students truly understand math—not just memorize procedures. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual learning style, using clear explanations, guided practice, and encouragement to build both skills and confidence. Whether your student needs help with homework, preparing for a test, strengthening foundational skills, or mastering challenging concepts, I provide a supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome.
I look forward to helping your student achieve success in math!
