I am also Orton Gillingham trained. My background includes a B.S. in Human Development, a Child Care Diploma and passing scores on the GACE Basic Skills and Birth thru 5. Currently I am pursuing my Masters in Mental Health.

As individuals we are all unique with our own special talents, so I tailor lessons to bring out each child's potential. I bring creativity, patience, understanding and most of all I respect the student and the process in which they grasp information.
As an Inclusion Specialist, I worked with students from Pre-K thru 12th grade. I provided push-ins, pull-outs and small group instruction especially in ELA and Reading. I also handled math from K-5th grade. My students always passed their classes and improved percentage wise on their exams.
While in high school, I had a poem published and was in AP Englisb. In undergrad, I tutored students in the writing lab, won an award for creativity and was able to CLEP out of my Literature classes. I am Orton Gillingham trained and I have worked with students on their reading skills as well as writing.
My background includes knowledge of ABA techniques such as Social Stories, Positive Reinforcement and Picture Exchange.
