Hello! My name is Avery, and I have over 200 hours of tutoring experience accumulated over the past three years. I began tutoring in high school, primarily focusing on grammar and language arts. I spent my time helping students both after school and during my free periods. Tutoring is something I genuinely enjoy because it allows me to share my knowledge with the next generation — the future leaders who will shape our world.
During high school, I was actively involved in extracurriculars, including serving as president of two national organizations. I earned over 550 service hours and received a HOPE scholarship. Now in college, I maintain a straight-A grade point average. I realized at an early age that I have a natural talent for helping others and enjoy sharing what I know to make a difference.
I feel most confident tutoring students in 8th grade and below, but I’ve expanded my tutoring to older students as well. Being 19 allows me to relate better to younger children, helping me understand their needs and how to best support their academic success. I’m passionate about fostering a supportive learning environment and strive to inspire confidence and curiosity in each student I work with. With my experience, dedication, and ability to connect with younger learners, I’m committed to helping them achieve their academic goals and lay a solid foundation for future success.
