About:
I am a Bachelor of Fine Arts Graduate from Georgia State University specializing in sculpture and currently pursuing post-baccalaureate coursework in Psychology at Georgia Military College toward a Master’s in Art Therapy. My foundation spans 3D/2D design, fabrication, life casting, and spatial composition, paired with an interest in artistic growth and development. As an active studio artist, grant recipient, and exhibition curator, I bring raw technical expertise and an intimate approach to private instruction. As an unconventional educator, I am committed to building creative pathways for people to pursue art as a profession or hobby through accessibility.

Expertise:
My teaching experience encompasses institutional studio environments, intensive workshops, and 1-on-1 instruction. As a Visual Arts Tech and educator, I support 2D/3D design, ceramics, printmaking, DPP, prepping hundreds of student works per semester for display. I also independently lead classes of 10–20 students through classroom support and substitute teaching. I help students build and curate exhibitions for notable Atlanta venues, including the High Museum of Art and The Bakery Atlanta, and design week-long sculpture intensives. My background includes a variety of sculptural methods in international settings.

At its core, my teaching is about meeting learners where they are. I combine hands-on demonstration with open experimentation and supportive feedback, creating an environment where making mistakes is part of the creative process. Pairing studio expertise with psychology, I love helping learners overcome self-doubt, master new materials, and build confidence in their artistic voice!

Art Theory

Art Theory

My BFA in Studio Art from GSU and my active exhibition experience give me a hands-on foundation in contemporary art discourse. My work as a Visual Arts Technician at AIS supporting design classes and major museum exhibitions gave me a deep understanding of how art is contextualized. My editorial work writing themed articles and interviewing artists for the Culturally Arts Collective translates directly into critical writing and theoretical analysis. My international studio assistantship in Berlin and leadership as co-president of the Edgewood Sculpture Forum immersed me directly in conceptual art dialogue.
Drawing

Drawing

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and specialize in teaching core drawing techniques, form, and observational skills. My background covers everything from foundational gesture, value, and perspective to advanced rendering and expressive line work across media like charcoal, graphite, and ink. As an active studio arts professional, I guide students through both technical mechanics and conceptual development. I focus on building spatial awareness, confidence in mark-making, and personalized critique to help artists of all levels elevate their drawing abilities.
Painting

Painting

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and specialize in helping students master core painting techniques, color theory, and material application. My background encompasses working across diverse media, from traditional layer building and underpainting to modern color mixing and surface control. As an active studio arts professional, I guide learners through both technical execution and conceptual narrative development. I focus on developing strong observational eyes, brushwork control, and constructive critique to help painters refine their voice and technical skill.
