Hi! My name is Jasmin, and I specialize in helping students prepare for the GED, particularly in Science and Social Studies. I have a professional background as a General Dentist, which has strengthened my ability to understand complex concepts and explain them in a clear and simple way. Over time, I have developed strong test-taking strategies that focus on breaking down questions and understanding how to approach exams effectively rather than relying on memorization. In addition to my clinical experience, I currently teach GED classes at my church, where I work with adult learners from a variety of educational backgrounds.
Through my teaching experience, I have worked with students who have been out of school for many years, as well as those who struggle with test-taking confidence. I typically teach in a classroom setting and also provide one-on-one tutoring for students who need extra support. My approach focuses on helping students break down questions step-by-step, identify key information, and build the critical thinking skills needed to succeed on the exam.
I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping each student feel more confident in their ability to learn and pass the GED. I understand that every student learns differently, and I adjust my teaching style to meet each student’s needs. My goal is not only to help students improve their understanding of the material, but also to help them feel confident and prepared when they take their exam.
