I am an experienced educator, professional writer, and university-level instructor with a passion for helping students build confidence and mastery in High School English and History.
I currently serve as an adjunct professor at University of the Virgin Islands, where I teach advanced, college-level courses and hold a Certificate in Online Teaching. My background includes decades of professional practice that require strong reading comprehension, analytical thinking, research skills, and clear written communication—abilities that directly support student success in English and History coursework.
In addition, I am a published author, having contributed three chapters to African American Architects: A Biographical Dictionary 1866–1945 (2004), which reflects my strengths in research, academic writing, and historical analysis.
I have taught English online to elementary students in China and have also taught and mentored middle school and high school students in architecture-related subjects. Across all age groups, I am adept at making complex ideas clear, approachable, and manageable.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I believe every student can improve with the right guidance, practice, and clear explanations.
