I started my teaching career through Teach for America, an educational leadership program for young teachers. I was able to leverage my bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College to show relevant connections to math and business to students. I then furthered my education at Johns Hopkins University, earning a Educational Studies Master's Degree in Secondary math. My educational background and experiences at various schools in my 10 years has allowed me to learn how to reach learners at many levels and will be excited to work with you!
