I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering which provide me with a strong foundation in math, chemistry and physics. My professional background also includes quality assurance and regulatory work in the public health sector which strengthens my ability to break down complex technical concepts in clear practical ways. This academic and industry experience allows me to help students understand theory and also see how these subjects apply to real world problems.

I have over ten years of tutoring experience working with middle school, high school and college students in one-on-one and small group settings. Throughout this time, I have helped students in algebra, calculus, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics and related coursework. My approach focuses on diagnosing gaps in understanding fundamentals and teaching problem solving strategies tailored to each student’s learning style. I also draw on my experience from my fellowship with the Arizona Department of Health Services where I trained colleagues created instructional materials and communicated technical information in accessible ways.

Across all levels my tutoring style is patient structured and goal oriented. I work to build confidence by connecting unfamiliar topics to concepts students already understand and by providing step by step guidance until they can solve problems independently. Whether helping a struggling student build foundational skills or supporting a high achiever preparing for advanced coursework, I am committed to helping learners progress stay motivated and reach their academic goals.
