Hi there! My name is Ms. F. and I am a middle school science teacher. I have a strong passion for teaching both science and language arts and I love what I do! As a classroom teacher and a tutor I build strong relationships with my students and encourage them to do their very best. I spend time researching the latest teaching methods to make sure that I do everything to help my students succeed.
I started my tutoring journey in college, I worked in the language lab helping students in French and Spanish. As a middle school teacher I have offered both before and after school tutoring in language arts and science. I have also tutored students who are homebound due to illness in a variety of subjects. I have taught and tutored students of all ages but the majority of my experience is with 6th through 12th grade.
I have a degree in middle grades education with certifications in science and language arts. I passed the certification exam with a professional level rating on both the science and language arts tests. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in curriculum and instruction and I am completing my gifted certification at the same time. I look forward to working with you!
