As a Georgia Certified Elementary, Middle, and Special Education teacher, I love helping students succeed and reach their goals. I have been a Georgia Certified teacher for 13 years and taught in the public school system. I am also certified as a Reading Specialist PreK-12.
I have a Masters of Education in Special Education and an Educational Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership. I have taught Prek-7th Grade.
In addition to teaching full-time in the classroom, I have enjoyed tutoring other students after school for the past ten years. What I love about tutoring is the great advantage of one on one help and the ability to find out where a student has deficits and close those gaps without distraction.

As a Georgia Certified Reading Specialist, I have also been trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach through The Institute for Multi-Sensory Education. I have enjoyed teaching and tutoring using this approach with excellent results.
I have especially enjoyed teaching remedial reading, writing and grammar at the sixth grade level. I love English Language Arts!
I am now tutoring students in person again at this time.
I tutor most students at my home office, which provides undistracted focus.
I want satisfied clients and encourage feedback. I try to be flexible with my hours, but note that there is a two hour cancellation policy. I will offer makeup classes when possible.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping your student meet his or her learning goals.
