I’m Damian! I scored a 1540 on the SAT (790 Math, 750 RW) after self-studying as a non-native English speaker. As a National Chess Master, I bring the same systematic thinking to my tutoring. I build strong thinking from the basics – no bandaids and no shortcuts. Once the foundation solidifies, improvement is certain and linear. Every question has a system: formula, clear steps, definite answer. No guessing. This approach makes improvement consistent and measurable. Drawing on 10+ years of experience in competitive chess and swimming, I maximize performance on the test day.

I graduated South Forsyth High School in Cumming, GA, where I took 17 AP/IB in-person classes, led the National English Honor Society, the chess club, and the chess team. I'm an incoming Mathematics and Economics double-major at UGA Morehead Honors College (class of 2030). I was also a tutor in five Honor Societies, and hold an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification, having taught more than 60 students ages 5-10 swimming. I am available for in-person sessions in Forsyth and neighboring counties as well as online. I offer both ongoing one-on-one tutoring and a standalone study planning service for students who want a custom day-by-day roadmap through their test date.

I completed Algebra 2 Honors my freshman year of High School with an A. I've also scored a 790/800 on SAT Math and tutored up to Calculus in my school National Math Honor Society.

I am a US Chess National Master, and I recently peaked at 2218 USCF and 1966 FIDE. My most notable victories are U13 Russian Scholastic Chess Championship in 2018 and K-7 USA National Scholastic Chess championship in 2020. I am the president of South Forsyth High School chess club and teach chess there to around 50 members.

I scored a 1430 on my Junior year PSAT and increased that to a 1540 on the SAT the following June.

I scored a 790 on SAT Math after self-studying. As a National Chess Master, I approach every problem with the same systematic methodology. Every SAT Math question can be solved by Identifying the type, remembering steps, and applying the formula. I've tutored more than 440 students through Schoolhouse.world; most in the SAT.

I scored a 750 on the SAT RW section as a non-native English speaker, which means I had to develop concrete systems for every reading question type rather than relying on intuition. That is also what I teach: a methodological approach that boils down to Identifying question type, reading & taking notes, and eliminating answers one by one. Akin to math section approach -- similar certainty, but in the reading section! I've also taken two years of IB Literature HL and lead the National English Honor Society as a senior at South Forsyth High School.

I self-studied to score a 750 on the SAT RW section by creating a system for each question type. This is best for the writing section -- every question has a strict grammatical formula, and it's what I teach. Improving this section first will raise your score the fastest. Academically, I've excelled for two years in the IB Lit HL course and I'm the president of the National English Honor Society at my high school.

Adaptable, Freindly, Quick.

We went through results of a practice exam and he adjusted his lesson plans to prioritize what I needed and not what was planned for. We went through question by question until I understood how to do everything I missed. Super freindly, listens to students, and helps simplify complex ideas into easy memorable steps. Scheduling weekly from now until the june SAT, and would recomend anyone to do the same.
