Hi there! I'm excited to share a bit about my background and why I love tutoring math and science.

Educational Background:
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Anhui University in China and later pursued a Master’s degree in Health Informatics at Northeastern University. My studies gave me a strong foundation in math and science, and I love breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable concepts.

Tutoring and Teaching Experience:
I began my tutoring journey at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, where I helped students tackle challenging math and science subjects. Seeing students have those "aha" moments is what really drives me. After Bunker Hill, I started my own tutoring practice, where I’ve worked with students ranging from 3rd grade all the way up to graduate level.

My Approach to Tutoring:
Learning should be as enjoyable as it is educational. That’s why I take the time to get to know my students and their hobbies. Whether it’s sports, music, or video games, I like to connect their interests to what we’re studying. This approach makes lessons more relatable and helps concepts stick. My sessions are relaxed and interactive, focusing on making sure you really understand the material in a way that makes sense to you.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of students—from young kids just starting out in math, to high schoolers preparing for big exams, to college and grad students diving deep into advanced topics.
