Hello! My name's Caleb W. I'm a track coach, guitarist, dog dad, football fanatic and educational professional. I teach high school Economics and World History, but also have taught US History. I'm passionate about big breakthroughs in education, especially with topics that seem to be the most challenging. However, it usually takes small marginal steps to get to the big breakthrough.

I'm passionate about developing relationships. If you're looking for a tutor, I would be grateful to be a part of your learning. However, I focus on getting to know my students so I know how to help them best. I think personal relationships and continual growth are the keys to success in education.

I have a teaching certificate, but I received a Marketing degree from UNC Charlotte and worked in Marketing for 4.5 years before making my transition from teaching. I am extremely passionate about economics and related content to present day events in order to make it more relevant and easier to understand. Economics is my favorite!

Let's make it real!! I feel we forget that US & World history may be...well...history, BUT it actually happened! I try to explain and develop major events through history to make them appear more real and help the learner make connections between major causes and long-term effects.

I'm here for the students, and to show learning can be fun. I was a 3.0 GPA student, and a large part was because I didn't have many people encouraging me along the way. I'm here not only to help provide content delivery, but also to encourage you along the way.
