To start, I am a firm believer that being prepared is the key to success. In detail, I have a Masters’ degree in Special Education from Augusta State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Miles College. Basketball has been a part of my life for over 20 years. I have played for over 12 years (high school, college, professional) and coached for 10 years (middle school, high school, AAU, and college). I have a very successful graduation rate of basketball players (100%). I know how to instill discipline and teach life skills. It is my belief that life skills are critical to students, since many will not go on after high school to play college sports, and even fewer will play professional sports.
I understand that, as a person in a leadership position, I must lead by example and motivate young men to aspire to have character that leads them to be the best on and off the court. I currently hold a T-5 Certificate in Special Education General Curriculum.
